“We chose Colombia as our destination for our honeymoon. We had a tailor-made travel plan drawn up by MiraMundo Travel.
Our budget and our wishes to visit various places, to do excursions and to enjoy hotel facilities were taken into account.
After email contact, we quickly received useful information about what to expect about the country, the culture, the climate and a draft travel proposal with upgrade options.
We made an online appointment to discuss the plan and our questions were answered clearly and comprehensively. After this appointment we were convinced and decided to book the trip.
Our holiday was extremely well organized and went very smoothly from start to finish. The transfers between the airports and hotels were always with an English speaking guide and driver. For domestic flights, we flew premium class, so we never had to wait. This made traveling very comfortable, relaxed and efficient.
Our 14-day trip was as follows: we started in Bogota (the capital) – Armenia (coffee region) with trips to Salento and Filandia – Medellín (large city) with a trip to Guatape- Cartagena (large city on the coast) with a trip to Tierra Bomba Island (to fully relax).
During our stay in Colombia, MiraMundo Travel was easily accessible via Whatsapp and we always received a quick response.
We received tips for restaurants and nightlife. This contributed to wonderful evenings out.
We did not recognize the stories about a very unsafe atmosphere and crime on the streets in the cities. We have experienced the atmosphere as very pleasant and the feeling that everyone lets each other out, also in the evening. Even street vendors stop immediately if you respectfully thank them for their services.
